Event Details
In fiscal year 2025, Kanazawa University was selected by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) for the program "Future? Leading and Advanced Graduate?schools (FLAGs)."
FLAGs is a program that supports the establishment of graduate education hubs aimed at increasing the number of highly qualified doctoral graduates. It seeks to strengthen the capacity to cultivate doctoral talent with broad knowledge, international outlook, and advanced practical skills through the implementation of ‘thorough internationalization’ and "comprehensive industry-academia collaborative education." In addition, by reviewing internal resource allocation and other measures, the program promotes the development of high-quality doctoral human resources.
