Health Service Center held a food education program, "Vegetable-Packed Easy Breakfast Soup Tasting Event," on November 5, 12, and 17 as part of student support. The event took place at Building 3 of Tsuruma Campus, the Natural Science Main Building, and the Comprehensive Education Lecture Hall. The purpose of this tasting event was to introduce students to simple recipes of soups, aiming to prevent skipping breakfast. Sponsored by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) as part of its "Food Support Program for Rising Food Prices". The soup was provided free of charge as in October.

The menu featured 'Ishikari Soup' with seasonal vegetables and salmon, and 'Sweet Potato and Chicken Soy Milk Soup' with Kaga vegetables, specifically Gorojima Kintoki sweet potatoes. Student volunteers, known as the Student Crew, under the guidance of a registered dietitian, served the soups along with the recipes. Many students gathered at each venue, with 148 servings provided at Building 3 of Tsuruma Campus, 138 servings at the Natural Science Main Building, and 142 servings at the Comprehensive Education Lecture Hall.

Feedback from students included comments such as, "The soup was hearty with potatoes and salmon, and it really warmed me up," "The soy milk soup was delicious with the sweet potatoes being nice and soft," "It was great to have local ingredients like Toriyasai Miso and Gorojima Kintoki sweet potatoes – very characteristic of Ishikawa. It was delicious," and "It was good and seemed healthy." The event received very positive feedback.

Health Service Center is planning another soup tasting event in December.
