On November 5, "Autumn Tea Ceremony" was held at Affiliated Kindergarten. This event is held annually with the aim of providing an opportunity to experience the tea culture deeply rooted in Kanazawa.

This year again, Nara Sokyu, a tea master from the Urasenke Konnichian, demonstrated a traditional tea ceremony. While enjoying Japanese confectionery and matcha served by the senior kindergarten children, everyone learned the spirit of gratitude that is central to the tea ceremony. In addition, the senior children also prepared matcha themselves, providing a valuable opportunity to experience Japan’s traditional culture.
