Establishment of the Kanazawa University Kyrgyz Republic Office

On November 13, 2025, Kanazawa University established the Kanazawa University Kyrgyz Republic Office within the Kyrgyz–Japan Center for Human Development (KRJC) in Bishkek.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Almazbek Azimov, Co-Director of KRJC, and Professor YAMAMOTO Hiroshi, Advisor to the President and Director of the International Center for Japan Studies and Education at Kanazawa University, attended and took part in the signing of the Agreement on the Establishment of the Partner Office between KRJC and Kanazawa University as well as the unveiling of the office signboard.

The new office will serve as a regional hub for educational and research collaboration between Japan and Central Asia, supporting joint research initiatives, student exchange activities, and strengthened cooperation with universities in the region.
