On December 7, the Support Office for Students with Disabilities held a college preparatory program for high school students with developmental disabilities, "What You Should Know About University Before Enrollment".

This program was designed for high school students with developmental disabilities and their parents to deepen their understanding of the university environment and serve as a reference for their college preparation. It consisted of an introduction to the campus, a mock class on preparing a timetable using a syllabus, and preparation for college life.

Participating high school students said, "I was able to learn a lot about the university," and parents and others commented, "I think it was a valuable experience for us to actually schedule classes.

* This program was supported by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (JP22K02784) "Development of a Preparatory Support Program for University Adjustment for Students with Developmental Disabilities" (PI: Riu Hamada, Education Support Center Assistant Professor).
